<p>The device has a compressor for providing compressed charge air, and an intercooler, where an oil collecting space (18) is provided in the intercooler. A medium i.e. oil, is supplied from the oil collecting space via a delivery pipe of an oil pan of an internal combustion engine. The delivery pipe has a blocking device that is controlled for blocking or unblocking the delivery pipe depending on brake operation and/or operating condition of internal combustion engine. The blocking device has a pressure controlled valve (10) which is pressure controlled and/or operated electrically. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating an air supply device for an internal combustion engine.</p> |
