Crank case ventilation system for e.g. supercharged internal-combustion engine, has regulator and adjustable wall producing low pressure independent of pressure in crankcase of engine, and crankcase supply line for exhausting crank case

The system has a fresh air supply line (16) guiding to an inlet of an internal-combustion engine (10). A regulator (30) and an adjustable wall (32) produce a low pressure within an area of a fresh air supply line by adjusting an actuator (24). The actuator and a crank case ventilation line (38) guide from the crankcase of the engine into the low pressure area. The regulator and wall produces the low pressure independent of pressure in the crankcase of the engine, and the crankcase supply line guiding from the crank case to the low pressure area is a single line for exhausting the crank case. An independent claim is also included for a crank case-and tank ventilation mechanism comprising an air flow meter.
