An air-conditioner and a method of controlling the air-conditioner are provided to blow air to users located in all directions in a room and construct an air-conditioning environment a user desires. An air-conditioner(10) includes a case, a fan, at least two outlets, a vane, and a louver. The case is attached to the ceiling. The fan inhales and discharges air in the case. The outlets discharge air blown by the fan and heat-exchanged. The vane is attached to each outlet and vertically adjusts the flow direction of the air discharged through the outlets. The louver horizontally controls the air discharged through the outlets.
