<p>A method of controlling an air-conditioner is provided to perform a defrost operation only when the temperature of an outdoor heat exchanger pipe is decreased so as to prevent an unnecessary defrost operation. It is determined whether a heating operation is performed(S2). When the heating operation is performed, it is determined whether first and second defrost operation conditions are satisfied(S4). When both the first and second defrost operation conditions are satisfied, a defrost operation is started(S12). The first defrost operation condition is set by at least one of an outdoor temperature and the temperature of an outdoor heat exchanger pipe. The second defrost operation condition is set by a low pressure variation.</p> |
