A curtain air bag for vehicle is provided to reduce the cost and weight by using fabric to guide inflation of the air bag cushion to the interior side. A curtain air bag for vehicle includes a cushion(60), an inflator, and fabric(62). The cushion is installed between a roof inner panel(50) and a headliner(52). The inflator causes the cushion to be inflated to the interior side through between a pillar trim(54) arranged beneath the roof inner panel and the headliner when a crash occurs. The fabric is provided between the pillar trim and the cushion in order to prevent the cushion from being inflated into the pillar trim. |
