Remote securing of control and identification UHF radio transactions

The method involves authenticating a radiofrequency identification (RFID) transponder (10) e.g. tag, to read one digest value under the form of an authentication message code obtained by hashing of useful data of a memory zone, according to an authentication secrete key. Values read from markers and a set of digest values are compared in the authentication step. The reading of confidential data obtained using an encryption secret key of truncated length and generated values, is authorized, and the useful data is decrypted, if the authentication step is validated by a reader (9). The memory zone can be an electronic EPROM type memory zone. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a radiofrequency identification (RFID) transponder comprising an antenna and a component arranged on a substrate (2) a secured radiofrequency identification (RFID)-ultra high frequency (UHF) facility comprising a reader.
