<p>The method involves preventing completion or subtask of a maintenance operation, by a maintenance unit (5A). Information based on a communication system (18) of a textile machine i.e. open spinning machine (1), is analyzed at a position (2), to determine whether a request provided before determination of a malfunction at the maintenance unit is maintained, obtained, modified or canceled. The information is analyzed at the position to determine whether the maintenance unit is activated to perform the maintenance operation at the position, after determination of the malfunction. An independent claim is also included for a spinning machine comprising maintenance units.</p> |
