A fatigue crack detecting apparatus is provided to detect automatically the time of occurrence of a fatigue crack through a vision system and stop fatigue testing machine, thereby obtaining an objective test result. A fatigue crack detecting apparatus(110) comprises a lighting device(120) and an optical sensing device(130). The lighting device is positioned at one side of a fatigue specimen(111). The lighting device radiates light toward the fatigue specimen. The optical sensing device is positioned to face the lighting device with the fatigue specimen. The optical sensing device senses the light of the lighting device to the blood through the crack of the fatigue specimen.
