A main drive supporting structure for FR type manual transmission is provided to prevent tilting and shaking of main drive by supporting one end of the main drive as rotatable. A main drive(1) is positioned in a transmission housing. The main drive rotates with a power of an engine receiving from a clutch. A bearing(2) supports one end of the main drive pivotally in the transmission housing. A retainer(100) comprises a fixing unit(110) and a supporting part(120). The fixing unit is fixed in the transmission housing. A supporting part pivotally supports one end of the main drive joined to the bearing. A supporting hole(121) is formed in the supporting part. A roller bearing(200) is positioned between the main drive and the retainer. |
