A sorting apparatus is provided to effectively sort fibrous foreign materials out, to minimize occupying space and to prevent materials in a housing from leaving to the outside due to the centrifugal force. A sorting apparatus comprises: a first housing(100a) having a first inlet(110a) and a first outlet(120a); a sorting unit(300) arranged in the first housing; and a first driving unit(200a) driving the sorting unit. The sorting unit is equipped with a rotating shaft(310) driven by the first driving unit and a brush unit(330) installed along the external of the rotating shaft. The brush unit has a plurality of bent wires. The first inlet is arranged higher than the first outlet. The sorting unit consists of: a second housing(100b) with a second outlet(120b) and a second inlet(110b); a first blade(410) arranged within the second housing; a second blade(420) pivotally installed within the second housing; and a second driving unit(200b) driving the second blade. |
