<p>A conveyance system (10) comprises a production machine (12) for manufacturing a web of packaging cushions (20), a duct (14) downstream from the production machine (12), a blower (16) to provide an air flow through the duct (14) to apply a conveyance force for conveying the web of packaging cushions (20), and a friction contact area (18) downstream from the production machine (12) and upstream from the duct entrance. The web of packaging cushions (20) passes beneath and contacts the friction contact area (18) to create a friction force opposing the conveyance force so that the conveyance force is not transmitted along the web of packaging cushions (20) to the production machine (12).</p> |
