<p>The sensor (20) has an electronic evaluation unit (26) for detecting a position of a piston (12). The evaluation unit delivers a signal representing the piston position, where the signal is wirelessly transmitted from the sensor to a superordinated control or other sensors. A power supply unit (28) is provided for power supply of the evaluation unit. The power supply unit has a coil and an energy converter magnet swivelable around a rotation axis.
