The present invention relates to fusion polypeptides comprising a biologically active component and a dimerization component, wherein said dimerization component is derived from sex hormone-binding globuline (SHBG). The invention further relates to nucleic acid molecules encoding the fusion polypeptides and to use of these polypeptides for treatment of various diseases.
