A straddle tool for both-side machining is provided to improve product quality by preventing the shaking of a tool machining both sides of a work piece. A straddle tool(100), which machines both sides of a work piece at the same time using a pair of cutting tools, includes a fixed structure(110), a transfer structure(120), a pneumatic single acting cylinder(130), a shaft(140), and a spring member(150). The fixed structure comprises a lever member(115) which is assembled by a hinge pin(113) and equipped with the cutting tool(111) on one end. The transfer structure is equipped with the cutting tool(121) located apart from the cutting tool of the lever member. The pneumatic single acting cylinder contacts one end of the lever via a rod tip(135) so as to apply an external force. The shaft has a body, the front end of which is connected to reciprocate in a guide hole(117) of the fixed structure and the rear end of which is fixed to the transfer structure. The spring member is arranged in the guide hole to apply an elastic restoring force to the shaft and the lever member when the external force by the pneumatic single acting cylinder is removed.
