摘要 An integrated circuit has an output storage element 401 to store the value of an input/output pin 330. When a functional block of the circuit enter sleep mode, a capture signal 420 causes the current value of the pin to be stored in the storage element. This stored value is then output on the pin while the block is in sleep mode. The pin may be connected to a flexible pin configuration interface 301, 311, 312 to allow several functional blocks to output signals to the pin. The circuit may also have storage elements 402, 401 to preserve the value of input and output enable signals for the pin, while the block is in sleep mode. When the block exits sleep mode, the normal output value is restored.
