<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide temperature control equipment for efficiently decomposing/sterilizing odor components and bacteria deposited on the surface of a heat exchanger, and to provide a heat exchanger deodorizing/sterilizing method. <P>SOLUTION: The temperature equipment functions to decompose/sterilize odor components and bacteria deposited on the surface of the heat exchanger 10. It comprises a supply means 50 for creating or storing chemicals which generates active oxygen and for supplying the chemicals to the surface of the heat exchanger 10.
