A management apparatus and an information processing method for managing counter information such as the number of papers ejected from an image forming apparatus through a device information acquiring unit and a device information management unit are provided to provide counter information which is suitable for actual use for an image forming apparatus displayed on a local panel. A device information acquisition unit(302) acquires counter information or a kind of a counter from outside through other devices or a network board. A device information management unit(303) manages the counter information. Software components are used in order to control a physical medium. A management apparatus supplies counter information which is suitable for actual use for an image forming apparatus. |
