NETWORK ACCESS METHOD IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND TERMINAL SUPPORTING THE SAME

A network access method in a mobile communication system and a terminal supporting the same are provided to properly allocate resources of a feedback channel according to a kind of a multi-antenna receiver. A controller(160) transmits a random access preamble to a base station in idle mode. If a response message about the random access preamble is received from the base station, the controller transmits an RRC connection request message about the response message to the base station. The RRC connection request message includes multi-antenna related information. The multi-antenna related information includes at least one of a UE(User Equipment) MIMO(Multi Input Multi Output) receiver type or feedback overhead information.
