ACCOUSTIC NOISE REDUCING APPARATUS FOR DISK DRIVE

A noise reducing apparatus for a disk drive is provided to improve the reproduction rate of a disc by pressing the surface of a disc through increasing air pressure when air is flowed from a recess part to a noise reducing part in the rotation of the disc. A noise reducing apparatus comprises: a case(20) forming external appearance; and a noise reducing part(22) being protruded on the upper bottom surface of the case and having a recess part(24) forming air current giving pressure on the surface of the disc in the rotation of disc. A plurality of recess parts are formed along the radius of rotation of the disc at regular intervals.
