LOSELESS POWER FACTOR CORRECTION CIRCUIT

A loss-free power factor improvement circuit is provided, which can limit the reverse recovery current by the main part diode by using the snubber inductor having small inductance. The rectified input voltage is inputted to one end of the boost inductor(Lb). The switch(Q) is connected between the other end of the boost inductor and ground. One end of the first coil(Nm) is connected to the other end of the boost inductor. One end of the snubber inductor(Ls) is connected to the other end of the first coil. The anode of the main part diode(Do) is connected to the other end of the snubber inductor. One end of the second coil(Nn) is connected to the other end of the boost inductor. The second coil is combined with the first coil and forms transformer.
