An inverter circuit is provided to vary resistance values according to heating states of a second and fourth FETs(Field Effect Transistors) by installing a protection unit at a place adjacent to the second and fourth FETs. An inverter circuit includes a power supply unit(110), a switching unit(120), a transformer(130), a control unit(150), and a protection unit(160). The power supply unit applies AC power. The switching unit switches the power of the power source unit by using a first to fourth FETs. The transformer receives the power switched by the switching unit by using a primary part. The transformer induces the received power to a secondary part connected with a load part. The control unit controls conducting states of the first and fourth FETs and conducting states of the second and third FETs within the switching unit. The protection unit controls switching operations of the second and fourth FETs according to the heating states of the second and fourth FETs.
