<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of preventing partial deterioration in a photoreceptor and the creep of a turning member even when set time required until an energy saving mode is short. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus has the photoreceptor drum 11, a driving motor 25 driving and rotating the photoreceptor drum 11, and a 24V power source part 34 supplying power to the driving motor 25, and has an energy saving mode control part 43 setting the 24V power source part 34 to a low power consumption mode under a prescribed condition, a fine rotation control part 44 finely rotating the photoreceptor drum 11 in prescribed timing at the image non-forming time, and a control part 41 setting the 24V power source part 34 in a power supply feasible state when the fine rotation control part 44 tries to finely rotate the photoreceptor drum 11 in a state where the 24V power source part 34 is set to the energy saving mode by the energy saving mode control part 43. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
