A manufacturing method of martensitic stainless steel is provided to secure desired Rockwell hardness by performing quenching heat input treatment in a range of temperature of Af or Af + 60 °C. A manufacturing method of martensitic stainless steel includes a step for offering stainless steel and a step for quenching heat input treatment in a range of temperature of Af or Af + 60 °C. The stainless steel includes 10.5~14.5% of Cr, 0.02~0.20% of C, 1.0% or less of Si, 1.0% or less of Mn, 0.04% or less of P, 0.03% or less of S, 0.07% or less of N, the remnant Fe and inevitably included elements. The quenching heat input treatment is performed for 1 minute or more in the constant temperature. |
