A call connecting video providing service method and a mobile communication terminal performing the same are provided to display video and a still image of a user to a mobile communication terminal of a counterpart person. A display unit(240) displays an image to a user. An input unit(270) inputs setting information and a telephone number. A database(280) stores environment setting data setting an image to be transmitted to an originator terminal. A controller(260) registers the environment setting data according to the setting information. If a telephone number of a receiver is inputted, the controller reads image data. The controller transmits the image data with a call signal to a receiver terminal.
