The circuit has a resonant converter (2) connected downstream of a step-up controller (1), where the converter includes a rectifier (4) connected to secondary winding of a transformer (3). A capacitively loaded loop resonant circuit (5) connected to primary winding of the transformer includes a resonance capacitor connected in series with a resonance inductor connected to a connection point of the primary winding. Another resonance inductor is connected to junction point between the capacitor and the former inductor, and connected to another connection point of the primary winding. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a system for operating a controller circuit, comprising two controller circuits (2) a method for operating a controller circuit.
