<p>The module (1) has a base body (3) to which rear ends (14) of multiple tools (5) e.g. needles, are fastened. The length of the base body corresponds to multiples of center-to-center distance of the tools. The tools are fastened to the base body by a structural adhesive. The base body has a recess e.g. blind hole, in which the rear ends or front ends (15) of the tools pass through. The adhesive fastens the rear or the front ends with the base body, in the recess. The recess is open at a front side (16) of the base body, and is closed by a cover in an area-by-area manner. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a tufting module.</p> |
