The apparatus has a feed table (13) feeding flat materials into a microprocessor-controlled printing apparatus. The materials are pressed in a supporting region counter of a transport belt (2). A holding carrier (32) for pressing elements (B1-Bn) is attached under the table, where one of the elements is mounted on the carrier with individual resilient components. The elements are arranged on the carrier below the belt in a transport direction and are protruded through an opening formed in the table to provide pressure from bottom of the belt.
