A container (120) suitable for storing a folded multicompartmental gabion or security barrier (123) comprises a base, at least one side wall and a roof (124). The roof (124) or an upper portion of the container (120) has a retaining means comprising a comb structure (125), with a first comb tine (132) or comb tine pair retentively engaging a first folded gabion or security barrier compartment or wall (133) and a second comb tine or comb tine pair retentively engaging a second gabion or security barrier compartment or wall. The comb tines may have an elastic characteristic. The comb tines may be connected together by a guide line or rod which retrains the comb tines when connected in a non-yielding orientation. |
