<p>A heating device is envisaged that makes use of recycled cans, by using one as a housing for a candle with another on top of it if the heater is to be used to heat food or drink. Holes or other perforations are made in the side of the can to ensure that the candle has enough air. The candle may be fitted with a sleeve for easy insertion and removal. The heater may have an outer sleeve to enable more or less holes to be exposed to control the rate of burning of the candle. A handle for the can being heated can be made from a large paper clip and a plastic rim may also be attached to the can to allow fluid to be drunk directly from it without burning the user's lips.</p> |
