A method for setting a weight of a droplet of liquid crystal to a reference weight and a method for dropping the droplet of liquid crystal with the reference weight from a nozzle on each of panel areas defined on a mother substrate are provided to set up the droplet of liquid crystal, which is supposed to be dropped, as each reference weight. A method for setting up a weight of a droplet of liquid crystal to a reference weight comprises the steps of: closing an outlet of liquid crystal and opening the inlet of the liquid crystal by rotating a piston installed in a cylinder and absorbing the liquid crystal; dropping the liquid crystal at a droplet through a nozzle; measuring the weight of the droplet.
