A curtain air bag for a vehicle is provided to protect a passenger safely when crashing two or more times due to overturn accident by delaying the swelling time of the curtain air bag through slowly ejecting expansion gas after a second chamber is expanded. A curtain air bag(1) for a vehicle comprises a front seat airbag(10), a back seat airbag(20), and one or more second chambers(30a,30b,30c). In the front seat airbag, a plurality of chamber walls(12a,12b,12c,12d) are formed at respective different height. The chamber wall partitions a plurality of chambers(11a,11b,11c,11d) expanded by the expansion gas gushing out in an inflator. In the back seat airbag, a plurality of chamber walls(22a,22b,22c) partitioning a plurality of chambers(21a,21b,21c,21d) are formed at respective different height. The second chamber is connected to two or more chambers among the chambers. The second chamber is expanded as the expansion gas flows inside. |
