A HEAD NODE ELECTION METHOD FOR CLUSTERING IN WIRELESS SENEOR NETWORK AND THEREOF WIRELESS SENEOR NETWORK

A method and a wireless sensor network selecting a head node for the clustering of the wireless sensor network based on EDR are provided to select the node which the EDR is big as a head node by calculating the EDR of the node from distance ratio between the energy of a sensor node and a sink node. A sink node(100) receives data to the wireless communication. A plurality of sensor nodes transmits the sensing data to the sink node. The sensor nodes comprises a member node(20) and a head node(10). The head node collects sensing data from the member node and transmits the sensing data to the sink node. The head node is EDR(Energy to Distance Ratio) selected by the sensor nodes.
