An optical disc and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent loss due to disc discard by marking BCA code of the uniform interval in case the BCA code is marked in a wrong way. An optical disc(110) comprises: a burst cutting area for recording BCA code; and an information field for storing data in a pit form and recording data. The burst cutting area is made of the re-recordable material. The burst cutting area is made of phase change materials. The phase change material is one among GeSbTe alloy, AgSbTe alloy, and AgInSbTe alloy. |
