A cart transfer system is provided to realize automatic movement of a cart in a direction by the operation of rack gear parts which are mounted between rails where the cart is secured. A cart(10) transfer system includes support brackets(20), rack gear parts(30), a cylinders(40), and a controller(50). The support brackets are mounted in the rails with a predetermined interval. The rack gear parts are movably coupled with the supporting brackets and have rack gears at upper parts, wherein the rack gears are formed with a saw-toothed part in a direction. The cylinders are mounted at distal ends of the rack gear parts and move the rack gear parts on the support brackets in the to and fro direction. The controller is connected to cylinders and controls the operation of cylinders.
