A breaker with a built-in surge protector is provided to prevent safety accidents when excessive current flows in a load and to reduce installation time and cost. A breaker with a built-in surge protector comprises a ground unit, a ground terminal, LEDs and a surge protector. The ground unit(130) is inserted into a long round hole formed in the center of a wire connection part of the breaker. The ground terminal(140) is located at the bottom of the breaker and welded in the lower part of the ground unit. The LED is illuminated when the power is supplied. The surge protector located in the upper part of the breaker limits safety voltage when the surge is flowed in.
