The edge portion has at least a partially exposed edge surface extending substantially linearly from the inner lens surface toward the outer lens surface coextensively with at least a major portion of the lens thickness at a location adjacent to the edge portion, and at a predetermined inclination with respect to a portion of the lens surface at such location.
