An apparatus and a method for processing 3D audio signals using an individualized head-related-transfer-function, and a high realistic multimedia playing system using the same are provided to play an optimized 3D audio by adding a module to a multimedia player. A demultiplexer part(21) divides a multimedia data into a video data and an audio data. A video decoder(22) decodes the divided video data into an original video signal. An audio decoder(23) decodes the divided audio data into an original audio signal by decoding the divided audio data. A 3D audio generating part(24) generates a 3D audio signal about the audio signal decoded in the audio decoder by using a head-related-transfer-function suitable for a body property of user. The 3D audio generating part includes an individual head-related-transfer-function providing part(241) and a 3D audio signal processing part(242).
