VACCINE COMPOSITION FOR IRIDO VIRUS INFECTIOUS DISEASES AND THE METHOD THEREOF

A vaccine composition for irido virus infection is provided to ensure excellent immunity effect, apply to sea water fishes and freshwater fishes. A method for producing a vaccine composition for irido virus infection comprises: a step of collecting an internal organ tissue of fish which is infected by irido virus; and a step of treating the tissue with 0.1~1.0%(v/v) of beta-propiolactone to inactivate the irido virus and produce vaccine composition. The treatment of beta-propiolactone is performed with supernatant which the tissue is pulverized and centrifuged. The internal organ tissue is spleen or kidney of dead fish.
