An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve reliability and production yield by solving that disconnection occurs when metal lines are electrically connected. A first metal line(152a) is positioned in a display area defined on a substrate(110). A first contact hole(H1) exposes the first metal line. A second metal line(152b) is positioned on an insulating layer. A second contact hole(H2) exposes the second metal line. A connection electrode(155b) is positioned to cover the predetermined area of the first contact hole and the second contact hole and connects a plurality of first lines and a plurality of second lines. |
