AMMONIA GENERATING SYSTEM AND PROCESS

An ammonia generation system and a process for the removal of nitrogen oxide are provided to effectively remove nitrogen oxide together with an SCR catalyst by supplying the SCR catalyst to exhaust gas, of which nitrogen oxide to be removed exists. An ammonia generation system for the removal of nitrogen oxide comprises: a nitrogen oxide generator(10) which generates nitrogen oxide by using the air; a burner(20) which removes the oxygen mixed with the nitrogen oxide; a reformer(30) which generates reforming gas mainly including the hydrogen and carbon monoxide by using the fuel and the air; and an ammonia generator(40) which generates ammonia by synthesizing the nitrogen oxide and hydrogen. The nitrogen oxide generator generates gas containing 0-5% of nitrogen oxide by using plasma.
