A pencil case is provided to prevent the writing tool from being dropped from the writing tool storage dish inserted in the pencil case. A pencil case comprises a cover which is provided with a hooking rim to be hooked at the projection formed at the side surface of a pencil case so as to maintain the closed state when a cover combined to the upper one side of the pencil case by hinge is closed. The pencil case is provided with an insertion part formed by cutting the upper one side of the pencil case, and a hooking projection at the both side surfaces so as to be hooked to the hooking rim formed at the upper main circumference of the pencil case to prevent the writing tool storage dish inserted in the insertion part to the upper part of the pencil case. |
