An information processing unit performing two os(operating system) in a short time, a power control method and a recording medium capable of reading a computer are provided to implement high speed driving operation by driving a computer-readable recording medium in a suspense mode. In case power off operation is performed, a predefined application program is terminated in an application program completion unit. After the application program is completed, a controller performs to a state in which generally the power consumption is lower than that of the execution time while the driving of the execution is the high speed than the normal. The controller starts an audio/video application program for AV device(14) before proceeding to the state. The controller resets the terminated application program.
