The thermostat and/or cut off valve is operated by radiographic signals sent from a mobile remote control device, e.g. a mobile phone, Blackberrydevice or apparatus with a WiFi transmitter/receiver. This control of the heating system can be done via a central point in the system or for each individual radiator.
