An acrylic impact modifier, its preparation method, and a vinyl chloride resin composition containing the acrylic impact modifier are provided to improve impact resistance, weather resistance, heat resistance and hardness. An acrylic impact modifier comprises 1 ~ 10 parts by weight of the seed which is formed by polymerizing a vinyl monomer 0.5 ~ 40 weight%, a hydrophilic monomer 55 ~ 99 weight% and a crosslinking agent monomer 0.5 ~ 5 weight%; 70 ~ 90 parts by weight of the core which surrounds the seed and is formed by polymerizing a C1-C8 alkyl acrylate 80 ~ 99.9 weight%, a crosslinking agent monomer 0.1 ~ 3 weight% and a vinyl monomer 0.1 ~ 20 weight%; and 10 ~ 30 parts by weight of the shell which surrounds the core and is formed by polymerizing a C1-C4 alkyl methacrylate 97 ~ 99 weight%, and a (meth)acrylic acid derivative or a maleic anhydride 1 ~ 3 weight%.
