A battery voltage amplifier apparatus and a controlling method thereof are provided to lengthen a lifetime of a battery by utilizing fully the residual amount of battery. A battery voltage amplifier apparatus includes a battery(130), a boost circuit(120), and a microcontroller unit(110). The battery is used for applying a supply voltage. The boost circuit is used for amplifying the voltage applied from the battery. The microcontroller unit determines whether the voltage applied from the battery is lower than the reference voltage. The boost circuit performs a controls operation to amplify the voltage applied from the battery when the voltage applied from the battery is lower than the reference voltage.
