A universal bracket device for a universal receptacle or switch cover is provided to reuse a receptacle body by replacing only the receptacle cover when the receptacle cover is damaged by external force. A universal bracket(30) is vertically inserted and adhered between the wall and a receptacle body(10). The universal bracket has at least one concave fixing groove(36) for adhering a receptacle cover. A universal receptacle cover(20) has a convex fixing unit(22) for coupling with the fixing groove of the universal bracket.
