A pouch-type battery is provided to secure stability of a battery by releasing the gas in an abnormal operation of a battery, to accurately predict at position emitted with gas, and to prevent performance degradation of a battery due to moisture. A pouch-type battery comprises a pouch type case(20), and an electrode assembly(10) positioned inside the pouch type case. The pouch type case comprises a first resin layer(21), a second resin layer(23), and a metal layer(22) formed with grooves on at least one surface positioned between of the first resin layer and the second resin layer.
