A connecting head structure of a high pressure fuel injection pipe is provided to prevent the interference between an annular flange part and counter components because the pipe shaft direction length of the connecting head portion is enough maintained. A connecting head structure of a high pressure fuel injection pipe comprises a sheet surface(3), an annular flange part(5), a circular cone(4), a coupling nut(9) on the spherical surface on the connection terminal part of the steel pipe(1) in which the thickness is thick and diameter is small. The annular flange part is formed with the tube axis direction from the seat face having interval. The circular cone is continued in the seat face and the end becomes thin to the annular flange part or the annular flange part vicinity to the leading end. The engage nut is indirectly combined in the rear side of the annular flange part as the direct. In case of the steel pipe in which the thickness(t)/external diameter(D); 0.3 phosphorus thickness is thick and diameter is small. The tube axis direction distance(L1) to the annular flange part rear side is 0.38D~0.7D from the connecting head portion end. The sphere radius(R) of the seat face is 0.45D~0.65D.
