An automotive smart key and an automotive telematics system using the same are provided to use user mobile phone number in telematics terminals by additionally applying a USIM module interface inside the vehicle. An automotive smart key(110) comprises an RF I/F part, a smart key part, a USIM module, a USIM I/F part, and a microcomputer part. The RF I/F part transmits radio signals in a smart key ECU(120) equipped in the vehicle. The smart key part transmits door lock/unlock signals to the RF I / F part in order that the RF I/F part transmits signals to the smart key ECU. The USIM module is inserted into a USIM interface part formed in the smart key. The USIM module is able to be coupled on a mobile communications terminal. In the USIM module, USIM information is recorded. The USIM I/F part extracts the USIM information from the USIM module. The microcomputer part transmits the radio signals, which correspond to the USIM information received from the USIM I/F part, to the smart key ECU via the RF I/F part.
