A seat assembly of a cabin for a heavy construction equipment is provided to relieve the vibration generated in the to and fro direction by the change in the center of gravity of a driver, thereby making the driver comfort and minimizing the fatigue due to the vibration. A seat assembly of a cabin for a heavy construction equipment includes a lifting damping element mounted between upper and lower supporting plates(20,22) for damping vertical movement of a seat body(10) by inertia, and a to-and-fro damping element for damping the movement of the seat body in the to and fro direction by inertia. The to-and-fro damping element includes guide rollers mounted to the seat body, guide rails(42) for guiding the sliding of the guide rollers in the to and fro direction, and elastic restoring parts(43) elastically supporting the seat body to restore the seat body to an initial state after the to-and-fro sliding. |
